Your time is Valuable

We understand that your time is very valuable. Our physicians do not over book so they are available to see you when you arrive and concentrate only on your case. Generally your exam will be completed at our facility within 2-3 hours.

Each Executive Physical Includes:

  • Medical History - gives the physician a complete picture of your current health and family history
  • Full Laboratory analysis – includes complete blood count, chemistries, PSA, thyroid studies, and cholesterol studies. See Laboratory Testing for more detailed information.
  • Health Risk Appraisal - statistical analysis of your health risk factors compared to the population
  • Nutritional Analysis - provides the physician with a snapshot of your dietary intake. This can be used to identify problem eating habits.
  • Personality Profile – screens for anxiety and depression
  • Check for Occult Blood in the Stool – screens for gastrointestinal conditions including colorectal cancer
  • Pelvic Exam, PAP smear and breast exam for women
  • Pulmonary function testing – determines your lung capacity and ability to move air in and out of the lungs. Useful in the diagnosis of certain lung diseases.

  • Vision Testing -evaluates visual acuity, color vision, depth perception
  • Tonometry Test - measures eye pressures to help detect glaucoma

Physician Conference

This conference is scheduled 2 to 3 weeks following your physical. It is a 30 minute, one-on-one conference with the physician to review your results, compare results to previous examinations, discuss recommendations and answer any questions you might have. You will receive a complete written report and a companion CD for your records. The CD contains your full report, lab work, and a copy of your EKG which can be used by your personal physician or other physicians that may care for you. We suggest that you take this with you when you travel so that your health information is easily accessible in an emergency situation.

Optional Specialty Tests:

Heart Testing

  • Maximum treadmill stress test – records the electrical activity of the heart during exercise to evaluate how the heart responds to the demands of physical activity. The test will be done at the time of your examination and monitored by a physician. It will assist in determining your physical fitness level and risk of coronary artery disease. See more info at Cardiovascular Testing and Education
  • Coronary calcium CT scoring – this brief, painless, non-invasive test can be helpful in detecting signs of coronary artery blockage before you have symptoms. This test can be arranged through one of our specialty consultants. See more info at Cardiovascular Testing and Education

Colon Cancer Screening

  • Flexible Sigmoidoscopy – endoscopic procedure used to screen for colon cancer and colon polyps. This is done at the time of your examination. See more info
  • Colonoscopy – this is an endoscopic procedure that examines your entire large bowel (colon) for colon cancer and pre-cancerous changes. It should be done every 10 years starting at age 50. This test can be arranged through one of our specialty consultants. See more info
